  Delivery In The North West
The Women and Work programme is available to all women aged 16 + who are working in the construction sector in England, at the point at which they sign the final part of the Women and Work form (Milestone 2). It is anticipated that the majority of women will be working for a construction employer throughout the time they

are involved with the programme but as there is a focus on recruiting new women into the sector, some women may be signed on to the programme initially to receive training which will help them obtain employment within the sector.

Whilst they must work in England, participants may have a residential address outside of England, e.g. Wales or Scotland, but they must travel into England for work. The Women and Work funding is provided by the English Government and is therefore available to assist companies in England.

In addition, women cannot benefit from the programme twice. Therefore if any training you have received since November 2006 was supported by Women and Work, you will not be able to benefit from any additional Women and Work funding. ConstructionSkills have details of all those who have benefited individually or through a company from the programme previously.
